Social Cohesion

It is most obvious that citizenship education as aiming at fostering social cohesion. This refers to community projects, to projects fighting xenophobia, projects for disadvantaged youth etc.

Some other social cohesion projects can be found under other headings, e.g. youth.

The first project presented by the Netherlands partner is highlighting how active citizenship is learnt and practised in a disadvantaged community from "normal citizens" in a very specific context practicing a bottom-up approach.
